Frequently asked questions

What is your background?

I have been working as photographer and executive producer for over a decade. During this time I have been based in Milan, Barcelona, Lisbon and Berlin, and worked with clients such as Harper's Bazaar, Numéro, MILK, ELLE, Marie Claire, Blumenhaus, Condé Nast Traveler, GUCCI, Coccinelle, Bellerose, Louise Misha, Assouline, Havas Media and others.

With a background in business strategy, luxury fashion and sustainability, I bring a unique perspective to every project, blending artistic vision with a keen awareness of contemporary trends.

I hold a CEMS Master’s in International Management by ESADE Barcelona and NOVA SBE Lisbon, and a Bachelor’s in International Economics, Finance, and Management from Bocconi University Milan. Most recently, I completed a Sustainable Business Strategy Executive Course at Harvard University.

My multidisciplinary background allows me to quickly grasp strategic objectives and translate them into refined, impactful visual narratives that resonate with target audiences and drive results.

What kind of photography do you specialise in?

I specialise in fashion, advertising, editorial and travel photography. My work spans campaign and lookbook production for premium and luxury brands, editorial storytelling for leading publications, portraiture for artists and public figures, product stills and elevated lifestyle content.

Where are you based?

I’m currently based in Lisbon, Portugal, and regularly travel across Europe and beyond for assignments and productions.

Do you shoot in studio or outdoors?

Both. I love working with natural light and embracing the challenges of shooting on location, as I feel it adds context and depth to the story. At the same time, I value the control and creative possibilities that studio work offers, especially when crafting complex lighting setups.

What are your rates?

My rates are individually tailored for each project, depending on the client and scope of the work, photography usage rights and duration of use of the imagery and so forth.

To get a quote, please get in touch with me via the Contact form. It would be great if you could kindly e-mail me all the details of the shoot, including information such as:

- Client info

- Scope of the project (editorial, campaign, look book,e-commerce, etc.)

- How will the images be used? In print, online, or both? Are they used for advertising purposes, on the website, on social media, etc.?

- For how long are the images going to be used?

- Number of days we need to shoot?

- How many retouched images do you expect?

- Project timeline?

What equipment do you use?

I've been shooting primarily with Canon equipment for many years, though Nikon was my go-to in the early days.

When it comes to film, I have an extensive collection of medium format and 35mm cameras. Some of my favorites include Mamiyas, Pentaxes and classic Canon models.

Do you do video as well?

Yes, I both shoot and direct video. For full-scale video productions concurrent with photo shoots, I recommend partnering with a dedicated video team to ensure the highest quality. If you need video content created, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to discuss how we can bring your vision to life.

What kind of clients do you shoot for?

I work with leading brands and publications worldwide. Producers, creative directors, agencies and brand owners who value refined storytelling and impeccable technical quality choose to collaborate with me. Whether managing large-scale productions or intimate, focused shoots, I bring a sharp creative vision and strategic approach to every project. I’m passionate about working with driven professionals to deliver visuals that truly elevate their brand.

Do you have a team you work with?

I have a trusted core team that I regularly collaborate with, and we’re fully available for international bookings. Beyond that, I maintain an extensive network of top-tier professionals across Europe, including art directors, hair and makeup artists, stylists, set designers, location scouts and more.

Are you available for international photo assignments?

Absolutely, that’s one of the greatest perks of being a photographer – it allows me to discover incredible destinations. I’ve been shooting all over the world, from Costa Rica, to the Canary Islands, Morocco, Jordan, Laos and Indonesia, and I'm always eager to explore new locations.

I also speak six languages, which often comes in handy when managing international productions.

Do you offer remote photo shoots for clients?

Yes, I regularly execute remote shoots for clients across Europe, the US, Canada, Singapore, Australia and beyond.

In short: my team and I handle photography, art direction and production on location, while clients provide remote guidance to ensure the shoot aligns perfectly with their vision.

What is required to officially book you?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your shoot dates in my calendar.

What format do you shoot?

I shoot both on film and digitally in RAW to guarantee the highest quality and flexibility in post-production.

Do you provide clients with all the files from the shoot?

No. Like most professional photographers, I don’t deliver every image captured. A single shoot can produce thousands of frames, from which only a select few meet the highest standards. Before booking, we agree on the number of images to be delivered for selection and retouching, ensuring quality over quantity.

Can you provide us with the RAW photo files?

I do not provide RAW files, as they are unedited and not representative of the final quality I deliver. Thank you for your understanding.

How many images do you retouch?

The number of retouched images depends on the project scope, intended usage, and the number of looks or items shot. This is always agreed upon with the client before booking.

If additional retouched images are requested after delivery, they can be purchased at a fixed rate per image.

How long does it take you to edit the photos?

Turnaround times vary based on my schedule and the client’s timeline, which we agree upon before the shoot. I’m typically quick with pre-selection and retouching, as long as the images don’t require extensive beauty corrections or highly specialized color grading.

For urgent deadlines, a rush fee applies.

Please inform me early if your project requires expedited delivery so we can plan and budget accordingly.

How do I choose the photos you edit, and how will I receive my pictures?

Firstly, I will share with you a pre-selection of images through a link sent to the e-mail address you provide me with. You will then be able to access an online gallery where you can view the images; here you select your favourites for retouching.

After I receive your selection, I proceed with the photo editing.

As soon as I finish retouching the images, I will send you a low-resolution proof that the work has been completed.

At this stage, you are required to proceed with the final payment. Once I have the payment confirmation, I will send you the high quality retouched files.

What if I lose my images?

If you need to download your images again after they’ve been archived, a €100 replacement fee applies. I strongly recommend making at least one backup copy as soon as you receive your files.

If we cancel the photo shoot, will we receive our deposit back?

Unfortunately, no. The deposit secures your date in my calendar, and once reserved, I do not accept other bookings for that date.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please send me an e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you!
